| Have I mentioned just how much I LOVE archery? Going out tomorrow again with my best friend to shoot some arrows. >;D
Oh wait--first to catch up the nonexistant people reading this on my life.
I got burned at Denver, CO big time..and now it's all starting to peel. Ewww. Well. My face was, but today I was all giddy because it finally stopped. And the top of my head where my part is..is still sort of peeling. It's nasty. I HATE sunburns. On a brighter note..I read Shadows Return by Lynn Flewelling on Tuesday. It was AMAZING. I mean, so worth the wait. It was a bit short..print was bigger AND it was shorter...but soooo good. I won't go on and review it because you need to read it, but I like a lot of the elements in it, but also wish she would have added a few other people in. I can see why she didn't, though. I just hope the next one(comming out next summer. @w@; ) have the characters I missed so much. Mmm..Saturday I went shooting and my middle finger is a bit sore, but I had a blast and can't wait for tomorrow...or rather, today. They have a nice place here that I know I'll be going to quite a bit more before I leave. I know I'm going Thursday, as well, if my friend ends up liking it. I don't want to go alone. ^^; Which reminds me; I still need to get her to read the books. I've leant the series out to the friend I went with before and I must say..it was quite enjoyable going out to shoot with her because even though she hadn't read the series, she has listened to me talk about Alec and took it all in. She was making her own comments like, "I want to be able to knotch arrows as quickly as Alec!" and such. It's impossible, I'm sure, but we can always..try. He's just been doing it all his life. I plan to go out more with a friend of mine who is the Captain of his team and practice at the place he goes to...if he ever tells me what this place is. Ah! I also read Melusine by Sarah Monette. (Sorry, I don't feel like remembering how to do the accent. ^^; I'm tired.) It was quite good. Just a bit...slow for my taste. I wanted to finish it, but it took me forever. I'm also not happy with how she does relationships..How quickly something is over after so many years..and only because of one tiny rejection after being, well, crazy for awhile. I'm rooting for a relationship I know won't happen, or rather, I'm rooting for a decent relationship. I've picked up the second one, The Virtu, and I've read all of chapter three. (One and two I read on her website on my phone on the way home from Denver.) I fell asleep..and haven't picked up it since. I hope this one can capture me better than the first...but if not, I'm almost not thinking of picking up the third book. And I always finish a series. I love Mildmay...he's very entertaining and it's a very different point of view that you do not get in many stories that it is done well. The transaction between POVs is good, but it's just not catching my interest. Then again, I've been reading only Lynn Flewelling's books for the past while and so nothing has been comparing to her amazingness...but...I may set it down and get a different book, then pick it up at a later time. I would love to ask for suggestions...but no one reads this. Heh. Mmm..Well, off to sleep..or read..or look at art..or something. Here's a little doodle like always. NineInjection's characters. | Mmm..Today(Well..it's 4am, so technically yesterday..but whatever) I went out and ended up getting the Acoustic Guitar from my best friend, Jamie. Well...I got it from her mother since Jamie wasn't there. And it's sooo pretty~ Stayed over 2 hours talking to her mom, though. That I enjoyed quite a bit. But I ended up not going on my run tonight because I twisted the ankle I had sprained awhile back..And now it's sore and swollen again. I'm such a clutz. :/ Annnd~ My tablet sensativity wasn't working most of the day, so that made the commission annoyingly hard to color..and I couldn't draw in the hair. No sensativity=ugly hair. So then it finally came back and I was too annoyed with it to continue on my commission. Went on Paint Chat (Artgrounds(dot)com) for a bit. Then I almost finished a Book Meme. I just have to find a character I hate.(Do I hate anyone...?) And then draw a place I enjoy from a book..Then draw a couple. =D It'll be fun. Then I decided to do one of my 100 Themes: Lynn Flewelling Style. It's not complete, but oh well. Tamír from the Tamír Triad by Lynn Flewelling Sleeping. Either mid-third book or later. *shrugs* The only problem with this is the spoilers I might accidentally have...So if it has a spoiler, I'm just going to make it 'Mature' on DA. This one, however, doesn't. So I can post it to those nonexistant people watching me then go off to bed. It's already 4am. Looks like I won't be running this morning, either. Hopefully tonight.  Big pillow is big. =D Gosh. A failure at trying to make it LOOK like Tamír. But I'm also going to work on one that I want to make a shirt out of with the commission I've...got commissioned from someone on DA. They are drawing Alec & Seregil for me, like I'm sure I mentioned before. So then I'll be doing the shirt of the Tamír Triad and there will also be an awesome Nightrunner shirt to send Lynn Flewelling, as well. =D I just hope mine is decent enough in the end to send..but I suck and probably won't send mine. >_> If only I had someone watching. xD I want to post it on here and get feedback. | Yaaaay~! I finished The Oracle's Queen by Lynn Flewelling today and absolutely loved it. For the last two chapters my gut was in knots over the fact that it was almost over and I had so many questions left, but as I've found Lynn Flewelling does well is that you'll have a small part of her book left thinking, "Shoot! I'm not going to get out of this book what I want!" and she manages to give it to you all with less than 50 pages(and yes, that can sometimes seem like a little! Especially at the end of a book/series!) in a way that leaves you completely satisfied. Never is it just thrown in. I wanted more, though. It was the last book and I sooo wanted more. She still told us how the future worked out..but I wanted more~<3 Either way, I don't feel like writing a true reveiw. I need to go finish my commission I'm almost done with. And the Tamír/Brother fanart I've been working on. Just a simple peice I've been doing on the page before my commission when I'm trying to think. I like it~ >D Read the first chapter of the 4th Nightrunner book. Baaad idea. I want the next one sooo bad now....But I'll be going on vacation next Wednesday until Sunday, then it comes out that Tuesday. I'm hoping my book store gets it in. I may end up just ordering it because I've ordered a version signed~ So that'll come in a bit late..and I don't want anyone else reading that version, so I'm thinking about buying another, too~ Either way, I can't wait. I guess it wasn't just me finding every character lovable. Ms. Flewelling meant to keep the line between good and bad blurred.
It's an aspect I absolutely love to peices about her books. Something you don't often see. So many books give you someone to hate. Someone to root against. In Ms. Flewelling's books, you almost don't know who to root against. Sometimes you're even rooting against what the main characters are trying to do. (Only once for me, and it was a very small part.)
I'll just say this; if you stop by my journal and after all my ranting still don't pick up Lynn Flewelling's books...then there is something seriously wrong with you.
Onto another topic....art.
I've been commissioned by two people on GaiaOnline.com for art...For Gaian gold I never thought I was worth. ^^;
Of course, I woke up this morning with the biggest kink in my neck and only my little sister to help work it out. Bless her heart, she has no strength in her hands and it still hurts like no tomorrow. Thus I can only work on my first commission little bits at a time before it starts to hurt too much.
I hope to get the sketch and possible line art done tonight.....
It's funny, though. I'm more of a cute-drawing artist and both commissions are making me bring out a more..sexy side in my art. I know I can do it, but it's just different. Especially for my first commissions.
I'm glad I drew that art the other day, though. Now I can get the quest item I wanted and have a bit extra to save up for my next one. ;D

A complete and utter failure from a couple days ago. XD But it's all I have at the moment.

| Spent my whole day and part of my Monday morning drawing.... I'm slow already, then I have to go back to my regular tablet and use it in an odd place because there is only one place on my desk it really fits well. But either way, I was happy with the result. So was the person on Gaiaonline.com that got the free art. <3 That's all the matters to me~ She also made me pretty art of my avatar on Gaia~ Also, I've spoken with the person who got me into Lynn Flewelling's books and I'm commissioning a picture from her of Seregil and Alec. That picture I'll put on a shirt(with her permission already) from..somewhere. Not sure yet, but I want quality. Then I'll buy three. Keep one for myself and send one off to Lynn Flewelling with a Print of the picture as well as one to the artist.(Shirt only for her. xD) So that's why I did this today. ;D I want to also make a shirt myself so that I'm not sending Lynn Flewelling a shirt of only someone else's art.... So yes. It shall be epic to have Seregil and Alec on my shirt. >D | |

| First of all: I left Thursday morning and didn't get back until Friday evening. Then I was dragged to a friend's friend's preformance(dance).
Then after that, we bought $25(@_@;;) worth of energy drinks and candy. I only had one and a half and a bag of sour gummy worms....but we had fun. ;D
It was really odd, though. I fell asleep the moment I laid down and I was dreaming of Tamír and Ki and...I don't remember what else. It was weird and, as usual, I don't remember it. But all of a sudden I had something tossed to me and I dropped it and woke up with a really deep breath. Apparently I 'spazzed' because I freaked out my friend next to me.
When Tamír gets 'something' passed to her magically..My first thought was: "How did she react and catch that so easily?"
Apparently it bothered me in my dream, as well.
Then I had the rude awakening of falling off the bed to wake me up in the morning. *sigh*
Anyways~ Almost done with The Oracle's Queen by Lynn Flewelling. I've just been drawing so much that I'll get into it, then get an idea to draw and stop reading to draw.
Also; I've decided that one of my Ball Jointed Dolls reminds me of Alec. I've got a bow ordered and on the way for him and I'll be making him some clothes that fit the style of the Nightrunner series. Then a blonde wig~ Ooh. Can't wait. Just sad it won't be here before June 24. I can't join the contest. D; I even have a minature Luck in the Shadows book for him. T_T
Well...bye now. Off to draw some more.

| (I think this is the longest I've kept with something like this. I'm quite proud of myself.)
I spent the day with a group of my old friends...and I realized how boring my life has been this last year. I'm sorry, but my friends in California are really...boring. And then whenever I do something I find entertaining, they'll laugh or enjoy themselves for..like..5 seconds. I miss what I have here. I enjoyed myself today...More than I have with a group of people in awhile. As always, spending time with my best friend here is a blast and reminds me of it, too, but it wasn't until I was in a group of amusing people that it hit.
On another note...Every time I listen to Antic Cafe...I miss Bou. I know it's been about a year now, but I can't stop missing him. T_T He's amazing. Isn't he just cute? *points to icon* And yes; he. <33
Now I'm going to go back to something I also lost when I moved(or rather just stopped doing)--watch anime(Vampire Knight subs here I come~ Shh. You don't know that..), and read manga(took 10 from Emily, but they'll have to wait until after I finish the Tamír Triad. Which shouldn't be too much from now...I'm almost done with Hidden Warrior and I'll be in the care for 3 1/2 hours tomorrow..plenty of time to finish it and start the final one...Four hours back with who is driving me..plenty of time to finish the last one.)
I also realized I have to buy new copies of both volume 2 & 3 of the Nightrunner series. I lent them out to friends..and didn't go the last day of school..so I won't be getting them back until August. x_X;; I don't want to even know what kind of condition they will be in..I trust my friends and all...but oh well. I need to have copies to refresh right before the 4th one comes out~! Plus, it'll be nice to read them after reading the Tamír Triad because then when Seregil talks about Tamír and the gang...I'll be able to follow a lot better. <3 It also supports Lynn Flewelling, the author, so that makes it worth it. ;D
Oooh~ I'll have books and books and more books, especially when I go to Hastings in Great Falls on my trip and get books reaaaally cheap. Half off, usually. Manga only $5...such loooove~
I have..4-5 comming in the male. All have homosexual themes, I think. I first found one through the book survey Lynn Flewelling did on her Livejournal. Then from there I found a lot of different ones I hadn't seen before. I think two are fantasy and two are realistic.
On an ending note, I LOVE Ki. He's just..so amazingly cute. I hope a certain something happens by the end of this series. It's very much hinting toward it..so I can only hope. If you have no idea what I'm talking about.....Bye~! xD

| FInals are, obviously, over. I thought I did better than I had in Bio. and, of all classes, Geometry, but I guess not. I always freak out on tests. Oh well~
I'm in Montana now visiting my mother. It's odd, though, because everyone is at school. Sleeping downstairs, I found myself waking at 11:30am. I'm not one to sleep in past 8:30 these days...But I guess the light wakes me up. My room down here doesn't have any windows.
And now my goal is to, when they are gone, make this computer run faster and also try to find some more decent things for my little Dream of Doll baby to wear. He likes his current clothes, but being an Angel....ducky Pj's are just not working for him.
On another note, I might not set up my small wacom tablet, so as I think I mentioned before, it'll be all hand-drawn art. At the moment I'm working on one with Seregil & Alec from Nightunners by Lynn Flewelling. Oooh~! The release of the 4th book is getting closer! But I think I have plenty to keep my occuplied. Almost finished Bone Doll's Twin, also by Lynn Flewelling. I would have finished it already, but I haven't had much time. Now that I have it, I'm trying to speed up this darned computer. I'll probably set up a clean up, leave it and go finish it. Down to the last couple of chapters and neeeding to finish. I was up until 2 last night(didn't get to bed early, though. :/ ) reading. I will have it done by today. >: D
Then there's the second and third to read..then the four books I ordered from Barns & Noble...and then to re-read the Nightrunner series again. <3 Ahh~ I can't wait.
Now I'm going to stop being all giddy and get back to work on this slow computer. Just tempted to completely wipe it. *sigh* | |

| Wooo~ So English I think I did pretty awesome. Gym, pshhh. That was easier than easy.
Tomorrow is the day it comes down to---Math and French. Math just because I mess up on tests and make little mistakes...French...I HAVE to get as close to 100% as possible. I'm completely freaking out that I'm going to ruin my 4.0 GPA in my Freshman year. Wouldn't that just suck? D: But I did just get an email and she said as long as I don't bomb it, I should be able to hold onto my A-..>_>;;
Anyways...I've been doodling. Or rather, finising a doodle. Or trying to finish it completely. My tablet freaked out last night and then wouldn't work, so I didn't color the shirt. xD That's why it's a bit..blag. I was in the middle of shading the skin...so I kind of just quickly finished, especially when I saw the time. Forgive me. *bows* That's why the avvie sucks, as well. I sort of just had to use the mouse here on my laptop to finish it..and look at the screen of my tablet...and thus I got too lazy by the end to do anything fancy for the avvie..I'll fix it up at some point.
I like her shirt(Folds are, oddly, my favorite thing to do when I draw)..and have decided I still need a LOT of practice in coloring. X_X I already knew that, but this just shows me how much I still suck. xD
Either way, I'm going to go study for my French and read my book. =D
(As always is shrinks it, but you get the idea...xD)
